***No spoilers ahead, I promise.***
If you haven’t already spent 8 of the best hours in recent TV history binge-watching Stranger Things on Netflix, then you need to call in sick and get thee to a screen, STAT. I mean, how else are you going to be able to hold your own in any conversation, anywhere, with anyone? So, without giving away too much plot, I’d like to suggest snacks to fuel your upcoming binge. Why these particular foods? Okay, I’ll give you some tiny hints to whet your appetite.
And if you have watched all 8 hours already, you know what I’m talking about and you’re ready to go there again. Right?
3 Essential Stranger Things Snacks
Eggo Waffles
Let’s say you’re a kid who’s been isolated from the world for your entire life, and now that you’re out, you’re being secretly fed by other kids. Bringing you toaster waffles just might make a lot of sense to them; it sure does to you. Bingers: Go on and eat them plain, or fancy them up along the lines of this Peanut Butter Chocolate Waffle Sandwich.
Meatloaf
Hey! Here’s something to eat besides toaster waffles and junk food: Someone slips you a plate of their mom’s homemade meatloaf. Let’s just hope you can chow this in peace–not like that burger and fries at the diner earlier. But shhhh, we promised not to reveal too much. Bingers: Yes, of course we have a recipe called Mom’s Meatloaf, but for TV-snacking purposes, give these Mini Meatloaves a try. They’re especially good if you’re sharing the couch with friends. Just load up on napkins!
Chocolate Pudding
With great power comes great responsibility, and you’re definitely using your powers for good. Yet, you’re running low and you sure could use some quick energy. Your pals know just what you need: chocolate pudding. Whether or not you actually get to eat it…well, you’ll see. Bingers: Try this Pudding in a Mug for a single serving of creamy, chocolaty satisfaction.
Now, go string up some Christmas lights and enjoy the next 8 hours of couch-time.
