Grrreat Idea: Cinnamon Frosted Flakes Coming Later This Month

Frosted Flakes are about to get a major new flavor update in a new version that includes cinnamon, vanilla, caramelized sugar, and maple. Yum!

Kellogg’s is releasing Cinnamon Frosted Flakes later this month. According to the company, the new flavor was 100-percent driven by fan demand. “In fact, cinnamon ranks as the top flavor request among Frosted Flakes lovers, so this innovation made perfect sense,” said Joanna Grennes, Senior Director for Kellogg’s U.S. Morning Foods R&D. “Fan input was the driving force of the Cinnamon Frosted Flakes development process – it truly was a flavor developed for them.”

Kellogg’s says it tested more than 100 variations to create this cereal. It will begin to hit stores this month, and will be widely available in January 2017.
